Hey guys I have invited a couple boys who own and operate a place called "Unique Possibilities" to come share chit chat and expertise with us. They market a line of grills, camp kitchens and such that is pretty nifty. The grill selection and prices are terrific. Probably the best I have seen for a mild steel array. The kitchens are adequate as well and they have a good variety of useful things that the camp cook requires. Take a look at their site and get familiar with it. I got a feeling we will be seeing/hearing about them a lot! www.campgrills-kitchens.com/

Paws, I don't know about the quality, but their prices appear easy on the wallet. Maybe they would let you test them for a product review for the forum Hmm. snake-eyes

When I get my "STG" I'll be buying their iron and checking it out. During the "First Big One" there was quite a variety of iron gear used in the field. Mosby's Raiders especially had access to anything and evrything that was on the market through gifts of the locals or raids on supply trains, encampments, and columns. Most everyone else, especially the foot soldier, was reduced to having only what he brought from home, foraged or was isued by the QM. Issues of new or replacement gear didn't happen often and the quantity didn't stretch too far.

Yes sir very sharp gear. My only sore point is those danged kitchen set ups where you set a camp stove. They are never solid or strong enough for you to actually get rambunxious and cook. I find the end of a picnic table much more suitable or the "potter's bench" that I haul along with for modern camping needs. On these you can shake rattle and role your pans but on those commercial kitchen set ups you can dump your bratwursts on the ground right quick!
