It's a great time, Phil!! You stay at the lodge, either in private room(first come first serve) or in the bunkroom, at $12.00 a nite. All the cooking is done by those who attend. If you don't cook, you wash dishes, prep food, ect. The guy hosting this GT will go shopping for grocery's a day or two ahead of time, once he has a final headcount. Then the cost is divided up equaly between all who attend. Last years total came to $34.00 for the weekend! ;D

Well, for any of you who missed this GT, you missed a great time. I believe 24 or 25 showed up for a weekend of fishing, laughing, good food, good company, and beautiful scenery. This was my first time at the GT, and I'll tell you, it was one of the best I have attended. The lodge is on 18,000 acres (yes, that's right 18.000) of the most beautiful forest you could imagine. I think there were 19 or 20 lakes on the property, but we only fished 4 of them. The catch consisted of northern pike, bluegill, perch, crappie, bass, and I believe 1 walleye was caught. They made for a great fish fry. It was pretty cold with 12 inches of snow on the ground, and the ice was 24 inches thick.
I'm sure looking forward to the 5th annual Ice fishing GT!
Thanks to all the Michigan guys for their hospility!
