Of course we will have our displays in full swing with static displays of mortars, a rocket launcher, and a mountain howitzer. The field kitchen will be in full operation. This year we plan to provide hard tack samples for the visitors and of course demonstrate a variety of cooking techniques used during the Civil War in the out doors. Looks like this years event will be really spectacular with an estimated three hundred re-enactors and three to five thousand visitors not counting on lookers at the re-enactment battles. The Raiders will be setting up Thursday afternoon and preparing campfire pizza as requested by Mrs Billie Hogan (Bruce and Peg's daughter) in honor of her 20th birthday. So you folk down there on the Southern end of Ohio and you West Virginiaites; No Excuses! Be there and drop in and get a cup of coffee on me. If you show up when the chow is cooked, who knows, there might be an extra plate somewhere! ;D
*Now recruiting Soldiers for artillary training, infantry, dismounted cavalry, quartermaster corps, cooks, KP's, and ladies of questionable moral turpitude for various soldier recreational activities.
