I just got back from Wal-Mart with a "Universal Laser Sighting System". I can't wait to try it out to see how close it gets me to the mark.

I have one Carter, and I think they're great....really puts you in the black....I got it from The Sportsmans Guide, and I also have a manual one where you put a probe down the muzzle and thers a grid on attached and you have another tool that you place over the reciever, and just match the scope to the grid.....I of course prefer the laser....

Thanks for letting me know that you liked it Steve. I was wondering if it would be worth the money. Cost me $40. I used a gift card so it didn't really cost me anything out of pocket.

Once you get all sighted in, after the laser and range work, set the laser back up on the rifle and record your reference. That way, you can check your zero anytime you wish with out shooting. If after traveling or god forbid dropping, you can set it up and see if your scope was knocked off. I really like my laser too. Got it at Wal-Mart too. I was thinking of picking up the one that is like a bullet and goes in the chamber. That way I would be able to carry in my pocket if I needed it.
