I'll be leaving here on the morning of Wednesday, September the 22nd. I plan to arrive in Troy sometime early on Thursday the 23rd. I'll be in the tailgate area selling signed, first editon historical fiction, THE REVOLUTIONARY BLACKSMITH. Hope to see many of you there!

Wish I could be there - but I don't think I'll be able to make it. What's the entry cost... and is there an event link? Thanks.

Paw Claws,
If the Good Lord's willing and the creeks don't rise, I'll definitely be there. I've already registered and paid my fees. I'm not entering any competition, just going to sell books and meet friends.

I'm back, but Gawd I'm tired! 1,208.3 miles round trip. The new truck runs a treat, and the sleeper is comfortable. A couple of small things to do yet, but nothing major. After I get back from next wees demonstration (at the Museum of Appalachia, Norris, TN) I'll finish up, and Sheri can finish the painting. You can see a photo "essay" of the problem with the old truck, and the construction of the new truck, (if you are interested) at: www.iforgeiron.com/PPW.htm
