I'll pray for a safe trip! I hope he' home sooner than later.
I bet I can find a few goodies to send out to make him comfortable.
Think he's allowed to put a little hula doll on the dashboard of that bigass plane?

Thanks folks, I appreciate the prayers and good wishes. The boy knows how to stay safe. I don't think they'll give him too hard a time about a hula doll as long as she is covered. Thanks again folks

A Waheenie in a Burka? Yedneck maybe your boy and Chris will run into each other. Fourteen months in that hell hole is enough for anybody. Got an address for him?

I think you all know what Chris does except yednack. If your boy gets in any trouble there, My son is the one who comes by with an AC-130 and makres a whole lot of holes where they ask him to.

The phone rang awhile ago and the ID said, Barksdale AFB. Well, Guess who was on the line with a pacth through. YUP! It was my boy. It was 4:30 AM there and he had just gotten in from a "job". He sounded pretty tired but I understand that too. 4 or more hours of an AC-130 humming in your ears will flat wear you out. Since it was his first trip, he had to shave his head and grow a mustache. The head was easy, the fur is tough, he only has about 6 whiskers on his whole face.... ;D He's missing his hunting and fishing but otherwise doing very good. He has a flag he flew for me and a piece of brass. I gotta get me a flag pole put up out front now. No problem, I can dig the hole and a buddy will get me the pipe. He sends his regards to everyone here and and hopes you all have a good season. I told him I gave you all his address and said to thankyou ahead of time for anything you see fit to send. Other than that he's been busy (21) and flying every night.

Brian,
Good to hear from Chris...glad he is doing okay. My continued prayer is that the time will pass quickly and that he will soon be home safe and sound.
I'd offer to loan him some of the excess beard, but salt and pepper wouldn't look good on a nice young man his age! ;D

Another call from the boy yesterday. His timing was great too. He got to talk to me, Mom, and Matt. He's doing well and appreciates the stuff that has been sent to him. The package Miss Kathy sent (18 lbs) took 14 days to get there. He says he's staying safe and being careful. Should be home sometime in January.

;DThats real good news, Brian!! Thank the Lord that he is safe! MORE GOOD NEWS!! Linda Randell is home ONE day after her operation with minimal pain and doing well! She goes in for test this Friday to determine if she has to have radiation treatments. Keep her in your prayers as I know that this has helped her. ....Bill
