Jimmy is the good looking kid in the middle with the M-4 hanging on his chest and the turd in his mouth. He is a Sgt. E-5 and this is his squad. His unit has M.P. duty and convoy escort's. He is 6'4" tall and 220 lbs. of lean mean fighting machine but other then that he is a great kid. ( yes I am a proud Dad ) Please keep him and all our people in uniform in your prayer's. Thanks, Bill and Semper Fi

Thank Y'all
He just got over there 2 week's ago. His reserve unit was activated last May 15 th. He should be home in late April or early May of 2007.
As far as what he needs he is pretty well squared away, but a hello letter would help. He hate's missing Deer season at our place in Va.
Thank's Bill
Sgt. James Hurley 3/14th. G Btry. 2nd. Plt. FPO AE 09509 3004 Task Force MP 3/14

Bill,
I just sent off a couple of boxes of magazines and candy to Jim. Some of the other boys I've been sending stuff out too have requested toothbrushes, so I put a dozen or so in there for him and his buddies as well. I hope that he recieves them in good health! Write and let us know how he's doing.

I just sent out some more magazines and my sister made a box full of homemade cookies to ship out. Hope their still fresh when he gets them.
I sent a similar box to a friends daughter over there and she didn't eat the cookies right away and her "buddies" ate them up for her. Snooze ya lose!

Well they shouldn't get too awful hungry! I changed my mind about the jerky figuring from what I was reading that jerky was about what everybody else was sending. I sent Jimmy four pounds of beef summer sausage, a couple dozen giant slim jims; by the way you'll need to ask Jimmy why the Marines got hot, spicy, and nacho flavors while the USAF got "Mild" , a couple boxes of granola bars, a box of snack crackers, a couple jars of brown and spicy mustard, a couple chocolate cakes, a box of peppermint candy canes, and three cans of fancy honey roasted mixed nuts. The USAF got pretty much the same thing except their Slim Jims were "Mild", well I did include a couple Tabasco for that Cajun boy, Christopher Warner !!
