I haven't been on in a while, but I thought this would be a good post to come back with. Our soldiers sure would appreciate something to remind them of home and the great times spent afield hunting and fishing back home. You can help by going to this site: store.primediamags.com/soldier2/ and sending one or more subscriptions to our boys in the military. It only costs $10.00 apiece and they sure would appreciate it. I go back from time to time to send a subs or two when I can afford it. Check it out. Reddbow

Thanks Reddbow! Pretty slick set up. I checked them out and they are legit. You know this is probably cheaper than mailing old copies of our own mags! Now, just cause you return bearing gifts doesn't mean your absence is going to be overlooked! Guys, how should he be punished?

I got an e-mail from him this morning and he has had it pretty rough. We'll limit him to five lashes Freddie!

Hey guys, Frank Steed says that Lipton makes a drink mix that you dump into 1 or 1.5 litre bottles of water. The guys like that real well. Two liotre size does not help at all. He said a two litre botle frozen will be too hot to drink by the time it is half way empty. He also says they can use theose "Giant" humongous zip lock bags like for the size of a blanket cause the baby powder dust gets into everything. Hard candies, baloons and bubble gum in large quantities for the kids too are most appreciated.

Here is a litle somethiung Xerox corp is doing. www.letssaythanks.com/Home.html Click the link and fifteen seconds later you will have a postcard heading to a soldier, sailer, airman or marine in the war zone. Simple and easy and if you have been there, you know how much it means to receive a word or two of encouragement.
