45 degrees here today. We should be planting gardens by now! Got back from the gym a little bit ago. Feeling pretty good. The soreness is fading. ;D

You got some free weights around the house? You need to do your stretching, isometrics, cardio, and fill in with weights once you start man. Skip a day at your age and you got to start all over. There ain't no days off brudder.

Yes, I have some wieghts around that I use. Would have gone but got stuck at H&R Block from 1pm to 4:30pm. 15 page tax returns take awhile even with a computer. Went in today and did the strength training on the Nautilus machines, 2 sets.

Well it looks like kicking the walks up to forty minutes has made a marked improvement over 30 minutes. This mornings stats are BP 124 over 75, HR 80 BPM, and remember that's with taking the hydrochlorothyazide which elevates HR twenty percent!, Glucose is 151 ( man it's coming back down!), and the biggie; (drum roll please) "219 lbs!" [/size] ;D Finally, under 220! Quite a road trip over the past 18 months huh from 248 pounds with equal glucose readings and yadda yadda yadda!

I'll start increasing the weight on the machines next time. I can do the 20 reps on all but 2 machines(mid row, pec fly) and I'm not going to concern myself over those two. The cardio pedal machine I'm up to 2.5 miles at 4 MPH.

If I could run as fast as I can type I would be in serious trouble! (Friction burns!) A1C 8.2 from 10.5 last read. Target is 7 or below! ;D

I haven't been to the gym since last Wednesday. In fact I haven't been anywhere but the house unless it was really necessary. I got a bad chest cold. I'm not going anywhere with a constant stream of snot running out my nose. OK, you can go back to lunch now!

Just finished my ham sammie with runny American cheese! Alka Seltzer plus will make you puke but dries up the snots and the Hall's Eucalyptus takes the burn out of the lungs and the zinc lozenges shorten the headcold time by two thirds.

I just take Nyquil to sleep. I took Dayquil once at work, half a bottle. ET knows how well that worked out. Things are way better today and tomorrow I plan on going to the gym but I'm dreading it some.

I've had really great results with a sauna when I was all stuffed up. Half hour in there after a work out really cleared everything out.

I've been bad and haven't been to the gym in 6 months. I just got tired of the drive back and forth and then not being able to use all of the machines I needed to do because of other people when I did go. I mention this because they called me at home and I have an appointment at 2pm Tuesday. Reason #1) They have a wieght loss clinic on the premises now and thought I might be interested. Reason #2) They wanted to know were I've been. The appointment is to discuss both reasons.
