You bet it is. Domino has a "Light sugar" out now. Haven't tried it yet but I noticed it is about a third the price of Splenda. Do you like cola? Try this; get one each can of Pepsi, Pepsi Diet, and Pepsi One. Taste test them and tell which one is best. Pepsi One is made with Splenda and check this out. It is one of only two sodas in the us made with real sugar! Everybody else has switched to corn syrup which tastes like crap. With the extensive increase in diabetes I would not be surprised to discover that corn syrup is the root cause. Or even corn in general. It is used virtually everywhere we used to use sugar because it extends product shelf life and eases the manufacturing process in terms of speed and costs.

Whew, a hot day today. But I had the fix to it. Miss Kathy made some Banana Cream Pie. Addison and I had some just a little bit ago. Addison is now sleeping peacefully with a full belly and I'm getting ready to do the same.... I'll see if I can get her to post the recipe... Good stuff y'all

Oh please do Brian! I love banana cream pie. ;D I finally got that bear in the mail. Man I thought the postal clerk was going to send me home with it cause I marked the box fragile. He wanted to know all kinds of stuff about the conents. When I just went ahead and told him it was a teddy bear he put the postage on it and sent it on its way. You should get it Wednesday or Thursday. I can hardly wait to see Adision's expression when she sees it. When I get the photos, guess who is going to be our next featured member!

That teddy bear is just so adorable!! ;D LOL Phil on how the postal clerk reacted to "fragile" written on the box. I had 100 lbs of KN03 sent here this spring for making pumpkin fertililzer. Requested that the shipper send it insured. I guess the guy nearly got arrested for aiding terrorist! Both of us ended up signing a dozen or so forms proclaiming that it truly was going to be used for agricultural purposes. That nanner pie sounds yummy! I think I'll scrap my plans for tonights cherry cobbler and make one of them for the kids instead.

Miss Kathy says the recipe came from the lid of a cool whip container. Just be sure you have enough nanner slices to COVER the bottom of the crust.....

We decided that we'd do that when we move out. We will eventually since we're only living here as part of Mike's employment agreement. He takes care of the cows and they let us stay here for nothing, give us just enough $$ for food and pay the utilities. I don't know if you could call us "squatters", "share croppers" or "indentured servants". But one of them's got to fit us for the time being. I cringe every time I think about him loosing or quitting his job and the day we have to re-enter the "real" world. He's loosing his job. Please check my post in the Flea Market section. Any leads are highly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi everyone. I know it's been quite a while since I've been on here. Miss Addison was a little cranky tonight, I think she's trying to get more teeth. I'm glad she's over that stomach virus she had last week. I'm sure her new bear had a part in that. , Paws. I can email the banana cream pie recipe to anyone who wants it. Toby, it was nice talking to you tonight.I'm working on getting some pictures of Brian making the calls so he can get them to you. ;D

Most definatly plan on making it. It sounds delicious!! Waiting for the brother-in-law stops by so I can get the Michelob. Can't keep a beer around here once Mike gets in from the barn. Don't think it would be quite the same with Boone's Farm, Mad Dog or Southern Comfort and that's all that in the cabinet right now.
