Yep. A good stout dark beer is what is called for. A bottle of Anchor Steam would be ideal; but, you'll never find it and if you do it'll run about three bucks for a bottle. The Amber Boc or Michelob will do just fine. ;D Oh man you know what? Fix panini with ham and Swiss on Shepherd's bread with this soup and add a salad and you got supper knocked! ;D

Could have used a couple dozen of those pininis early this morning. You see last night was Matt's last as a single man. Chris has come up to be the best man today at the wedding. While I was hard at work last night them 2 boys was out caroussing. I won't say where but neither one had a "dollar" to his name..... So there I am sitting on the couch in my shorts around 3 am, when there is a tap on the door. The dog goes nuts and I ease up around the corner to see 2 big stupid grins looking at me through the front door glass. What could I do, I had to let them in. besides, they both got keys anyways but I figured they'd drive the dog nuts and wake the whole house up before they remembered that fact. Wesat around and yakked for awhile then I went to bed as they settled in and passed out. They got up early today, right at the crack of noon. Last we saw them they were headed off to find Chris's wife Lauren and Matt's bride Racheal. They had better be there when I get all the way up to Texarkana later.....What am I saying??? Lauren and Racheal have them boys hog tied again so they'll be there with smiles all over because them girls told them to.... ;D ;D ;D

Those boys of ours managed to stay true to form. Lauren and Rachel called looking for them about 4 pm. All I knew is that they mentioned going fishing at a pond.......They showed up at the wedding site about 20 minutes before the ceremony was about to start. Nobody told them to be there early for pictures or so they claim The wedding was on a pony farm and was nice.Lots of good food too. Brian didn't eat any cake, it was dry anyways. Matt's sister sent me home with 2 beautiful flower arrangements. Today, we went out to lunch with Chris, Lauren, Addison and Mandy. She was really good both last night and today,

I wish your hubby had been around! I'll be callin' again soon, but I been several kinds of busy lately. My computer's in the shop and I'm working with my notebook and have a time typing on it, so I haven't been around much. I did print out that pie recipe! Sounds great!

Brian, old buddy, what'd I do wrong? I called the other night and had a nice talk with yer missus and I got the messages you left, but now when I try to call you, I get a recording saying that my number is not on a list of numbers accepted by the number I'm trying to call.?.?. What happened? You put me on call block or somethin'? Anyway, I got the message teasing me about some new turkey callers what's supposed to be some kinda more betta than the one I just got. I gotta hear it, cause I don't believe it NONE! The one I have is just too pretty sounding to get any more better. I ain't ignoring your messages Brian, I just can't get my dumb cell phone to cooperate. I'll be trying again! ;D

I don't know about the block stuff Toby. Miss Kathy is going to check it out. I do know if yournumber is blocked to caller ID, it won't let you go through. Well, I think that's how it works.... ;D ;D

OK Toby, I turned off the block since I know you're calling for me instead of Miss Kathy...... Just kidding, It seems I may have pushed some code or another to make it block something or another at sometime or another. Boy, it was alot easier for me when the most important thing I had to remember was to keep my fingers away from the saw blade.....I still forgot that once in awhile ..... ;D

We finally got one of Brian's doc's to call us back. They scheduled him for Friday morning at 8 to get his throat stretched again. He's frustrated from having trouble swallowing again. Addison has an appointment Friday afternoon for a checkup. Of course they are at 2 different hospitals. He's got to call his doc on base to get the referral stuff going,.They say he needs a telephone consult with the doc.....Grrrrrrrrrr, just more red tape, insurance style. Got to get back to the laundry and get to the post office. I've got 5 packages to mail. But I think I'll have another cup of coffee first.

I bet one's for me! ;D ;D ;D Get that boy to the Doc and stretch away! You got a good one right there, I'm glad he's got somebody to look out for him. Especially since I doubt he'd take care of hisself. He'd probably sit out in the back working on turkey calls and fishing plugs till he tipped over toes up! We had a good talk the other day and I was glad he took the phone block off for me. I was kinda wondering what I'd done to aggravate him. Enjoy that second cup of coffee Miss Kathy!

You sound just like a kid at Christmas Toby! ;D and this elf isn't telling I don't have any idea why there was a block on the phone. But you know how weird stuff happens, maybe it was put on there by "George" our house ghost. He gets blamed for alot of stuff. Addison just threw something and said 'Grandma did it" when she got in trouble. Too hot to drink much coffee today , so I made a pitcher of sweet tea. Help yourself everyone.

You know it's not everyone who can say they have a friend who not only has 2 belly buttons (the ultimate sign of a great lover) but also the same friend who has had his neck stretched over half a dozen times and still talks about it...... ;D ;D

They got the stretching done ok. Went from pretty closed up to wide open all in one visit. To tell the truth, I'm a little sore right now, but we'll get through.

You suppose that Ubangi technique might work? You know, where they put in bigger and bigger disks to enlarge the lower lip or ear lobe. Hey, I wonder if it might work on my...; nah, probably a waste of time!

That's a good idea Toby, problem is the boy is still out there on the ocean somewhere on a cruise for the honeymoon. I'll bet he's giving that Ship's Captain a heck of a time though. "Go over there, looks real fishy." Or ""WHOA - turn this thing around, I just got a real good hit back there"""" ;D ;D ;D
