I don't know whether I'd rather be a buck or doe but a whether is out of the question! Aren't they gorgeous? Ain't you glad the good Lord gave us so many neat critters?

This is what has kept me and Cyndi busy all spring. Lucas played 9-10 year old baseball, and Anthony played t-ball. Wiht practices, games, and other odds and ends, we hvae not had a whole lot of free time.

Now Lucas looks like a ball player but I'm afraid that Anthony has got the eye gleam of a lady's man! Yep; new girlfriend every week just to keep Mom and Dad on their toes trying to remember names! They'll both do you proud.

To tell you the truth, Anthony is a better baseball player than Lucas. Or he is so far anyway. Now, when it comes to football or basketball, Lucas is better, but Anthony isn't old enough to play either of them yet. I have a feeling that Lucas will be the "ladies man". With those brown eyes and dark hair, he will be a regular Don Juan. I guess y'all can tell that I am a proud dad huh? ;D

A word of warning though. Don't forget to tell them both every day that you (1) love them and (2) you are proud of them; else they could turn out like me! Yes sir, them ladies do go for them "Teddy Bear" features. They both got lucky in the "looks" department. You sure they aren't adopted??

Neither are adopted, although Lucas isn't mine. But then again he is! I am not the natural father, but I am his dad. I was the first to hold him other than the doctor when he was born. He has my name and I love him just as much as I love Anthony. One thing I am thankful for. They aren't girls! I just habe to worry about 2 boys, not a whole lot of them! ;D ;D

Congrats to Anthony on graduating Kindergarten! Fine lil fellers there Preacher. You got every right to be proud! Oh yes, thank God they're both boys! I don't have children of my own that I know about, but Chicken, Dave, and Fred feel like mine, since I'm helping raise them and all. I hate to tell you what a sinking feeling I get in my stomach ever time some horny-toad comes sniffing around the place! Sports, agriculture, and church activities? Atta boy Freddie! Keep em so busy they won't have time to get in trouble! ;D ;D ;D

Neet critters there Pastor. Tobey I can get eggs fresh for a buck a dozen still. Also noticed that there are some new oil wells getting sunk out toward Faith's place!

This week has been very tough on me and my family. I had to resign as pastor of Maple Springs Baptist Church. Please remember me in your prayers .

No problem. Remember Pastor that the branches that bear no fruit wither and die but those that do are pruned to His perfection.

VACATION TIME!
Starting today, i am on vaction for the next week. But don't worry. I have to come in and feed every day so we are not going far. Just up the road to the lake and camp out. But I also remember what happened last year. I will be checking in on ya'll daily, to make sure you ain;t up to any mischief. My sermon notes will be posted as normal, maybe just a tad later in the day.
