We will be getting to/going through very late on the 9th or very early on the 10th...have no solid plans for the rest of the week...I know my way around Ohio faily well..so I can find most anything or place...most likely will have to be during the week though...one thing that is going to happen is our anual pilgramage to Cabelas and Bass Pro Shop ;D ;D let me know what works for ya'll

Which Cabelas and Bass Pro Shops are you working your way to? How long do you plan to actually be in Ohio and spending time with family? What days would not be good other than reunion day?

Your reunion site is only about a hundred and fifty miles North of me. Pretty close up there by Buckeye Bill, the Howards, Dave Shackle, and not too far from GQ. Are you using a park or what for your reunion? How far is the reunion site from where you will be staying with family? Ergo, what is the distance from there to Belfountaine?

We are having it at my cousin Kathy's farm, Maplewood is about 7-10 miles WNW of Bellefontaine...I'll be staying at my brother's house which is about 3 miles south of town...Bellefontaine is know as the little town with a big name that's 30 miles from the middle of nowhere...If ya'll want to meet up some place, pick it in the mid state area, like Marion. that way it's not over far for anyone (well at least not too over far)...like I said, we play by ear

Yeah TT. I'm just under an hour from you.
St. Marys is just on down the road on 33.
There should be some festivals & fairs going on that week.
Some of us should definately try to hook up if for no other reason than to grab a bite to eat!
If I wouldn't have let my membership dues to the Eagle club run out I could have rented a camp site at the Eagle's camp ground there in Bellefontaine, and we could have had a mini GT.

Lots of history in and around Bellefontaine. If you havent been to the Piat Castles or the Ohio Caverns you need to go. A little driving to Xenia and you could watch the outdoor drama of Bluejacket. (If they are still putting it on) If you were coming a few weeks later I could take you squirrel hunting in one of many tick infested woods.

Say Ralph the boys on NAHC Ohio Board are mucking with the mini-GT set for this Sunday. Looks like there might be a change in schedule. I mentioned your visit and asked them to consider that if they decide to reschedule the GT. We are so spread out that we have guys coming down from as far as Columbus for lunch and West Virginia coming up too! I'll keep you advised. We'll do something though, God willing and the creek ....

You know..............I havent been down the Mad River yet this year. I love wading it with my spinning outfit and catchin a couple trout for the smoker. Its prolly my favorite fishing area. So tranquil. You can end up just standing there, entranced from the river sights & sounds, and forget you're even fishing. Kinda like sitting around a fire at night.

Somewhere along there convenient to fish off the back GQ? If so and there is a campground nearby we might pull a GT together there for Ralph's visit.

There are about 6-7 access points along side of the road. They stretch out from Between West Liberty and Route 55. some spots are better than others.
As far as camping goes, I will check into that. There has to be something close.
There is also a canoe livery available for those who want to rent a canoe for the afternoon. They drop off and pick up.

I did a quick search and came up with this place Paws. It lies a lil West of the river, but North and South wise, its centrally located. www.meadowlakeresorts.com/Actually its not as far West as I thought. I rechecked and it lists mad River canoeing as being 5 minutes away.

How's we suppose to get together if they go and do fool stuff like mucking with the mini- get together Keep us all abreast what the hay is going on with the date/time. I think we're gonna slip over to the Cool Spot on Sunday anyways.
