Can anyone help?
I went back in this thread where Paws posted a link to where the GT is gonna be. It wouldn't let me access it. says you need a user name and pass word.
Someone asked not to long ago if anyone needed directions. I didnt think I did since that link was on there. But if I cant access it, I'm gonna need some directions.

From I-77 Take 22 east to 800 north. Take 800 n to 799 east. Take 799 e to 20 east or Kennedey Ridge Road. Take 20 e to Blue Trail Road. (unmarked) map to GT maps.live.com/?vendor=google&pkw=road%20maps|567169891Zoom in on Cambridge Ohio from this site. Find 22 east. Hope this helps.

Well, yes that did help Steve. Thank you.
Of course I'm gonna have to take a different route to go East, but the roads: 800, 799, 20, and Blue Trail were what I needed to get there.
How far up Blue Trail Rd do we need to go? Is the place marked pretty well?
What time can people start showing up? Do we need to give any particular name to be admited?

I think Blue Trail Rd dead ends into the place. The Club is called the Clendening Conservation League. Brian Buttermore is the member who set this up for us. I believe he is going to be there Thursday and he said people can arrive Thursday afternoon if they want.

Every year we have had this GT it has rained. Some years more than others. But we had a great time anyhow, and I'm sure this year will be no different. So I guess we have learned not to fret over the weather forecast. It would be nice to have great weather though. It's getting closer and I have started to get things together.

Yes it did rain but remember that the date has been kicked up to June now and this should make a huge difference. I just hope that I am able to be there. Heard anything from Dave on hats yet? I asked him for three which I will honor whether I show or not.

What do you mean "whether you show or not". You just put your AZZ in the car, start it up, put it in drive, and head north-east.. Thats not hard. You really need to be there. We are looking for someone to keep an eye on Dave, as he gets lost a lot on Saterday night. ;D ;D

Depends on how Dad does. If it looks like he is going into the nursing home or potential survival is limited we are spending weekends (sort of) actually Sundays and Mondays with him for as long as it takes.

You know I was thinking that one of those electronic dog fences and collars might be a good idea! I hope to be there because I've been experimenting with the "desalination of salt pork" in an attempt to reproduce what an un-named Rebel soldier called "a fine meal". Quick fried after soaking in hot water for two hours mounted on soft bread with a bit of oil, egg and vinegar beaten to a fluff (Miracle Whip) isn't bad at all!

Faith, I dunno exactly how many folks from the 2 boards putting on this GT are from down around your area, but maybe ya could car pool equipment and bodies with someone, and share the expenses..........just a thought. I sure hate to see the oil companies ruin your summer plans.

Mike says we're gonna try like heck to make it. This time WITHOUT the kids. Will just delay making the first payment on our land until next month. Seller says it's fine with him if Mike & I can have a chance to spend a little time with each other before he goes back to the boat. *Land!? YEP!! 5 acres of hilltop heaven in Carthage Twp.
