Paws, That beer keg idea sounds great! Having worked in and visiting a few bars in my life I know they pay for the deposit on any keg delivered and it is canceled by empties taken out.Now if you are willing to pay that deposit at your local Pub or Club you might find it at a reasonable price. The last time I managed a bar at my club the deposit was $30.But,that was 10 years ago. With a little cutting and welding, especially if you can do it or have done by a friend, I can see this as a great doable endeavor. If you need an investor let me know.I don't have a lot,but I like to spread the little I have around! So you and Two Tales get together and decide what you need and what an investor might need to invest.I'm not looking to make a zillion $ just like to see the idea work and get my $ back. I have a friend that did this with those spiral deep fried taters.... Worked the Ohio county fairs for the most part in and around central Ohio plus a few other activities. He did this with two camper type vehicles for 5/6years. I worked one three day weekend at a local event......Tomatoe Festival in Reynoldsburg and maybe had 18 hours invested in my time and was paid $500 cash. He called me I think it was maybe 3 years ago and offered the two trailers and his contacts for 50grand.....Even at the time if I had the bucks, which I could have gotten I did not have the time. I had contact with this friend maybe 5/6months ago at our club. He kept buying me drinks and I finnaly ask why?He told me because he got $87,500 for what he offered me for $50K. I got to tell you if you are serious, start now getting in contact with County Fairs and Festivals.Even if your thoughts of business are a year or two away. Oh, and be prepared for the politics of location.....in other words $$$$$$$. Some events are on the up&up and will treat you fairly.Others are not and you will know them by your location at the particular event. Another piece of advice, don't take your BBQ to a BBQ events. You have nothing to gain and a lot to loose. BBQ events involve big bucks and are extravagant. My point being do you want a trophy or make money Hmm Just some humble thoughts... snake-eyes

Well, if your in your house I guess all those critters will be fed for awhile. Start putting the pounds back on and they might eat for a couple more days. ;D Just remember to leave a commode seat up so they have water. ;D No sweat man, three toilets no waiting and one of the suckers keeps turning on the faucets in a bathroom sink! No problem with the "what to do with the body" but I guess I probably need to include some kind of an alert in the system. Going to see if I can't get my vet on line to find homes for them if something would happen to me. At least I would know that someone competent who gives a rat's ass would be in charge.

Snake I'm just wanting something for myself to haul to camp sites for GTs and such where I have everything I need to do a decent cook out. Also thought about adding a few extra features where the rig might be used to process a deer on the spot . Don't know exactly yet. Just a toy. I'm not lookin' to sell anything at this point although I just might need to. That's how I ended up with that $700.00 sink. I was going to turn my place in New Marshfield into a BBQ carry out/delivery but the State Inspectors virtually said they wanted fifteen hundred bucks to approve the septic system and grease trap arrangement. So I know what you mean about the "payola". I flat refused to pay a bribe and gave up the project. I have a buddy down around South Point who is a retired USAF E-9. One hell of a welder!! Back in 73 he took a stainless beer barrel and cut in half horizontally ending up with two pieces that would fold back together on hinges making a closed cooker shaped similar to "the egg" or open up and make two side by side grills that looked like a drum set. He used SS grate material (like expanded metal) for the grills and it really looked and cooked great.

Well with a travling food show, such as it would be, you wouldn't have to worry 'bout no septic system inspections:D I have been thinking along those line for the last couple of years..could do banquets, showers, pic-nicks and the likes plus demos for scouts and women in the outdoor program type things..not looking to make a fortune but it should keep me out of trouble for the most part...

Yep. That's kind of what I had in mind. I'm going to start drafting layouts for it and see what I can come up with. Want to compare notes? I think the trailer is 19 x8 with a 2 foot tongue which can be used for propane tanks, tool boxes, etc. An extended bumper can buy another 16 or 18 square feet for what not. I was thinking of putting in a 25 gallon water heater with a fifty gallon fresh water supply and a hundred gallon grey water tank. Don't know about refers, freezers, or fryers yet. What do you think?

Mine is a bit smaller than that, 16x10 I think (aint measured it in several years) I hadn't put much thought into the water supply yet, but you know one of those li'l propane camper models should do the trick for hot water and a 55Gal plastic drum would work for cold fresh and make up for the heater..a couple of those 2 or 3 burner jet stoves for deep frying and such and the storage lockers for the gear, all that stuff is fairly easy..the reason I'm set on the frig/freezer box thing for a smoker is that all the meat should be hung while smoking...hot or cold...stainless tables for prep work and the like (these I figured I would hinge out)...I don't plan on traveling extremely long distances so coolers in the back of the truck bed should work for any refrigeration needs...I talked this over with Wanda not to long ago and she keeps asking me if I have made the plans for it yet..I gotta quit procrastinating...I think I'll stop tomorrow...

Breakfast is a done deal and the house needs cleaned, meds to pick up, and possibles to purchase. Put another small fortune into the propane tank yesterday. At the current rate it looks like gas is running me right at fifty bucks a week this winter so far. At $2.30 a gallon plus tax it doesn't take long. Which reminds me I need to fill up the cars at Kroger's and take advantage of the thirty cent a gallon discount before the month expires. The knee is much much better. Got all the way up to bedtime yesterday before noticing any discomfort. It is still a bit unstable and I am babying it. Don't want to tear out the new attachments where the MCL is healing and reattaching to the bone. Still haven't figured out what caused the damage but it appears to have been some kind of twisting motion. Might need to re-think my plans to continue tae kwon do pursuits. REALAGE.com says that "greens" are good food for knees; might just have to become a Vegan, (yeah sure, as soon as I turn queer!)

Oh man, slept good and feel great! Took the brace off and although I babied the knee it held up well all night. Hopped out of bed to let the dogs out this morning and hardly knew anything was ever wrong with it. Plan to leave the brace on for another two weeks anyway though. The "itching" has started at the point of healing and the swelling is completely gone. Thanks you Lord for fixing my knee. No way I could have left here for a few days to have surgery done. I am starved to death! Damn I wish we had a decent restaurant in this town. You know, the kind where you can go in, sit down, read the paper, order breakfast 24/7. Maybe have a burger and fries or pancakes and eggs. A waffle House or an IHOP or even a Shoney's would be great! Maybe the folk from Golden Corral are listening!

Got the Dodge filled up for 2.79 a gallon at Krogers. Got enough left on the discount to do the Ford too so it gets a turn tomorrow. That puts about eight bucks back in my pocket or pays for my breakfast at Ponderosa tomorrow.

Got back over there and filled up the Ford then searched out and found a thing called a "clutch drive" bit to take "bowtie" shaped screws out of the trailer. Got it pretty well gutted now and about ready to burn off the trash and drop the shell. Think I'm going to use a PVC 3 or 4 inch frame for the super structure on the thing to keep the weight down and still provide a framework to house all the goodies. I envision a screenhouse effect for the cooking/food prep area to keep out the bugs and allow an openness for the smoke, ventilation, etc. Need to design some kind of removeable cover for the thing to keep the weather out and provide dry shelter during rain and to protect all the components when parked. May be in jail before the day is over. Trying to call the Misses to see what she plans to do/not do and got nothing but first nothing, then her answering mail box and by then I was pissed and told her that she shouldn't make any long range plans for breathing for 2008! Oh well what the hell, prison has to be better than this anyway.

If you kept it to that statement then your not in trouble. If you said something like, she shouldn't make any long range plans for breathing for 2008 because I'm going to kill her, then your in trouble. Be careful about posting such things on here as well. Keeping it to, she shouldn't make any long range plans for breathing for 2008! , just makes it wishful thinking and not a crime.Example, saying I wish my wife would die is a lot different then saying I'm going to kill her.

Of course I was under the influence of my "lack of meds" at the time! Now that my knee is improving my eye is FUBAR. Yep the good one! Don't know if it is pinkeye or what. Cousin Jimmy says his kids are just over pinkeye and it has been going around. They were over here a couple of days ago.

That will get you in worse trouble. Saying your off your meds, for any reason, can get Adult Protective Services involved to protect you from you and without a divorce your wife will be your guardian. ;D If you ever dealt with Child Protective Services or heard of them then know APS is 10 times worse unless you have a spotless reputation and life. Speeding tickets, drunkeness, drug abuse-even RX drugs, DIVORCES or really most anything negative in your life can be used by them as evidence that you cannot control your life and need someone to run your life for you. Be careful!

But I DO need someone to take care of me! Yes I know about APS. I ended up telling Sue that if she didn't let me talk to her Dad I was sending them after her since she has his POA and is his Executrix. She reluctantly relented.

Well today I learned three things! (1) Upon a visit to the ER I learned that my eye has been invaded and I have been victimized by a hordoleum! With antibiotics, hot compresses and patience it should subside in a few days. (2) In order to get Sue's attention it helps to explain to her that making the prospects of life imprisonment more attractive than my current situation is really not a smart thing to do. (3) I learned that Sue's problem is "being told what to do" or being given the impression that she is not in control. Now some things begin to make sense. We are supposed to discuss our situation tomorrow evening. l) Only took five months of threats of violence, the wrath of God, ...... to get her to agree to a rational phone conversation. Everybody please pray that she doesn't smart mouth and that I don't lose my temper. Oh and also please pray for the demise of my hordoleum and healing of my knee; which is better but still sad.
