Hey Phil, Just keep "YOUR" cool while talking to her tonight, "AND" if you can't do that have a chunck of wood with a big old barn nail in it. Then when you feel that you are loosing your cool "STEP" on it. Then you won't loose your cool!

Well the hordoleum appears to be gone, the knee is out of the brace and working without too much swelling or pain but my instincts tell me that talking to the wife is a waste of time and that I should stlop waiting for her to do anything sensible and go ahead and file papers. Problem is, no revenge, nothing fixed here and I may (probably will) lose the place, we'll need to move and wreck another place with cats. Not a good situation any way it turns.

Well I stewed all day trying to figure out how I was going to keep from blowing my top talking to her. At 8:45 PM I called her and told her that I was not in the mood to talk with her and I'd try some other time. This morning I got up early to leave her a message to tell her I thought we might be better off just leaving messages and she answered instead. So I told her what I thought and she popped off and I said when do you think we can talk without you smart mouthing and she said when I quit threatening to kill her and I said I'm not threatening and I'm not going to threaten but the thought has crossed my mind and frankly I don't see anything else that will resolve this situation and give me any satisfaction. She went dead quiet for about a minute and I told her I'd call her later. First time since we married I can remember her not having some smart assed comment to just piss me off.

Twelve degrees this morning! Maintaining a chilly 65 degrees within is requiring consumption of just under fifty gallons of propane at $2.31 per gallon per week now.

Well how about that? I informed my dear darling wife that I realy didn't appreciate her living up North in a fine house enjoying the good life high on the hog having created this hell here for me and these animals then abandoning us for greener pastures. I also advised her that if she could spend a grand for a diamond ring, six grand in less than a week for God only knows what (drugs I suspect) that she could well afford to pay her bills and that included propane gas to heat her house and that failing to do so would result in me informing her mortgage company and insurance company how well she is protecting their investment! She left me a message saying that she would send some money.

Knee Report Made it for about two hours or so before I had to sit down today. Brace was off all night and the knee was comfortable when I awoke. I think I'll try a little walking tomorrow morning.

Walking not good! Leg gets stiffer than a returning sailor's...., well you got the idea! Got to be rested after standing for a while. Seems to be healing up though and is stable to stand or walk just hurts after a while.

I have a ACL knee brace I can send you if you want it Paws. It's a custom job but it may fit you. It's never been used as it took so long for the company to build it that I had the surgery and recovered from it somewhat before I got it in the mail and so didn't need it. It's for the left knee.

Thanks Mars but it is the MCL that is fubar. Left leg though so close! The rest period it takes to recover the stiffness swelling and pain is reducing gradually. It was a half day and is now down to a few minutes. I can bend it inward now without too much trouble after the swelling is down so it is gaining strength and stability. Say, how bout them Buckeyes?

Well I went the whole day yesterday without the brace and this morning the knee is fairly good. Pain is only occasional and not too intense and I am able to walk my exercise path for a few minutes without stiffening. Not going to push it though. Need to retain some mobility. Thepast two days here has been 60 degrees or more with the evenings in the mid fifties. Unreal for January. We'll probably catch it around Easter!

Brace went back on at noon. Snugged it up as tight as I possible could and forced the patella to sit higher. Worked like a champ. No pain all day. good stability and real comfortable. Of course my foot turned black and fell off! (Just kidding!) ;D

Yep I know. I have neuropathy in my left great toe and discoloration around the left ankle indicating problems with the veins seeping plasma and the capillaries having been damaged. I keep an eye on it. This morning the knee cap is firmly fixed in place and there is absolutely no pain at all. Feels a hundred percent but I know that is only temporary. I just hope the amount of time it remains stable keeps on increasing daily. Well my darling wife let me down again! Got a check for the 450 regular she has been providing for the cats but nothing extra for repairs or propane. I real quick right now called her up and left a half dozen insulting real loud messages. For some reason she won't answer when I call! Looks like I'm going to have to take the bull by the horns and initiate the action. That means 90 percent probable she'll have to sell this place to settle up and I'll have to move and wait for my money God knows how long. All because the selfish bitch isn't happy! Me and the other 310 million Americans sure wouldn't want her to be unhappy! She ought to do herself a favor and take a big handful of the drugs she has been stealing. Hell she ought to do me a favor and take two hands full! I really got my heart broken last night. Yep; I went to the Yahoo Personals thinking I could get me an idea of what kind of competition I have here for the local women if I took a look at the mens profiles in my age group. Well I set my search to " Looking for a man" and got back a couple dozen profiles. They didn't look like too much of a challenge to me then I noticed they were all also looking for a man! Turns out they were all queer. So I go back to my search criteria and change it again this time to " Woman looking for a Man" Damned near five hundred hits! Saw my cousin in there found my own profile too but here is what hurts so bad; I sorted them according to "best match first" and turned out there were fifteen dudes better matches for me than I am for myself! No wonder I can't get along with anybody!

Why? If the status quo is benefiting you and pushing the issue wouldn't then I'd let it be. Bide your time and make your own plans.IMHO

Well yes there is that but I'm concerned she might sell the place for little or nothing out from under me. I don't think there is much chance of that unless her atorney suggests it. She seems to believe that suggestions made by folk whose interests are solely in lining their own nests to be the most valid! If I file I can get a restraining order preventing her from disposing of any of our acquired assets. I'll not do anything until the last minute for sure.

You weren't married to her when the house was bought? If it was bought after the marriage then her right or ability to sell it without your consent are nil even if you are not on the mortgage or deed. If it was hers prior to your marriage and there's no pre nup then she will still have problems attempting to sell it and more then likely any sale will be voided once it crosses an attorneys desk. If she left willingly then you may claim that she gave you the house and time will only help you in that case. Unless your planning on getting married to someone else I'd leave her be and not file or do anything. I wouldn't even be calling her. If you know her address then I'd have half the bills sent to her and let them deal with her.If she likes it or not she's stuck with that part of marriage.

She owned the land when we married and bought the trailer, in her name after, against my objections. She had her address changed a few weeks after she left and has that address on her checks now. Dog tags are due the 20th so we'll see what county she buys them in. Unfortunately I had the electricity put in my name when it was installed here. Same with the phone . As far as I know she has paid the mortgage and taxes on the trailer and the taxes on the land. You are right she will have trouble on a land transfer and it could easily be contested but only to the extent of half of any increase in value since we married; unless of course the judge thought she was selling it short to conceal assets then he could award the whole damned thing to me. Found something very interesting last night in a bathroom drawer. In a small ziplock bag are a half dozen blue gel caps folded on top of the capsules and within the ziplock is a set of instructions for using the capsules which are apparently rat poison. They were with a pile of her medications. Now I wonder what her intent was with these and why they were in the bathroom instead of a hazardous material area. I was careful not to get my fingerprints on them.

Mars what did you do to me? After I let the dogs back in this morning I went back to bed there being no NEWS worth viewing. Cousin Linda called at 0818 waking me and checking up. As I hung up I realized I had a dream. I had called Sue for some reason or the other and she answered. She said something or the other about that being somebody or other's residence then gave her name and then she started speaking Danish and talking about some King! Now I know we don't speak the same language nor understand/make sense to one another. But What the F*** Over? ;D

Phil, I agree with everyone on here ,don't push her buttons and let the noose that she has around her neck get tighter by her doing it, not you.She can't sell anything she owns legally with out your OK, my x tried that trick and wound up in trouble with the courts. As for them pills, I would take them to the police and have them checked out by themselves, mights be good evidence at your divorce hearing. If you need to talk, you have my number old buddy
