Got a really sick cat. All congested, losing weight and refuses to eat. I gave her some tuna in tuna water and she gave me the sign for "dirty" which is quickly shaking a forepaw back and forth as if to dislodge something stuck to it. So I grabbed her ass up and squirted pure glucose down her throat until she gagged and spit up a ton of mucous crap. Then she got some more and some plain water too. She'll get that about evry two hours now until she is cured or dead.

Well she is breathing easier and taking more syrup easier. She got herself a drink on her own and isn't looking so near death's door now. I believe she is grieving for Sue. Hey you know what it just ocjurred to me. Only the owner or licensed electrician, plumber, heat/air conditioning repair person may perform maintenance on these systems in Ohio. Does that mean that since I removed the smoke detector and I'm not the owner nor a licensed electrician that if the place burned down that the insurance would not pay off?

Maybe. Then again since your not the owner and the owner did not approve the removal then your the one that will pay civily and maybe criminaly. Paws, Paws, Paws, give up the hate guy. It'll eat you up. Find your happy place! ;D

But the owner did approve of the removal of the smoke detector and several other electrical system modifications/repairs! p.s. Interesting note: The NBC requires hardwired smoke detectors to be wired in series so that if one goes off they all go off. Of course these are wired in parallel in violation of the code and common sense as well.

It burns and stings! Well at least I know the nerves work. The right foot is now worse than the left knee. So far all I've got done is medicate two cats and feed them plus the sick one by hand and feed myself. I did scrub the stove top a bit and am boiling the burners out. Four freakin' hours Man when will it end?

Seems to me like I remember that someone who will remain nameless (PHIL) said that he didn't care what the Lord said on a certain subject, and that he was going to do what he wanted. Could it be that a certain nameless someone (PHIL) is now paying for that statement?? P.S. I TOLD YA SO! ;D

Nope! One thing The Lord ain't and that's vindictive. He is forgiving. There might be the glimmer of a lesson here for me in this though and that would be to not be so indepedant. If that's the lesson I might remind The Lord that I don't have a whole lot of choice right now. Matter of fact; very liittle choice for the past fourteen years. So if there is a message I'm listening.

Could it be that a certain nameless someone (PHIL) is now paying for that statement?? The cat is doing better. She got herself up on the bed and she hasn't been up there for a couple of months. I went to check on her and she was purring and her congestion isn't so bad now. Got to get some nutrition in her now and I think she will be OK. I sure hope so anyway. P.S. I TOLD YA SO! ;D Oooooohhhh Pastor I think you better put that "under the Blood!" You are treadin' on dangerous ground there Brother. I speak from experience! Man my foot hurts! Two toes are half purple but the nails don't look dead. I put some of that magic Tiger Balm on them. (Well it might not help but it makes them smell kind of nice!) I don't think they are broken. The both wiggle OK anyhow! Now the knee did pretty good today. I didn't put the brace on until after 3 O'Clock. That was right after my "baptismal shower" where I made two discoveries. Old Job has got two problems to deal with "pride" and "fear". Mostly the fear is of lookin' like a fool so I guess that's pride too!

God can be vindictive but in "modern" times I think He chooses to just let us be.He protects us all the time,even non believers, and he simply removes that protection and lets us suffer for our mistakes.He won't put the exercyle in your way but He won't move it out of your way either. If your lonely then frankly, it's your own fault. Of course you'll be lonely staying at the house and only surrounded by animals. I can only tell you what I would do which is;
By hook or crook, get rid of those animals. By bullet or by pound.
Clean the house up AFTER the animals are gone.
Drive to wally world or downtown and play "greeter". Shake hands and say hello and introduce yourself to everyone you see. Yep, most will think your a nut case. So what! You will meet people who will stop and talk because they too are just as lonely.

Lonely? Not me . I can do just fine on my own until I get hurt or down where I can't do something then I'm screwed. I think it's real funny though that we had hell over Sue running to Columbus to "help" her Dad, who is in a nursing home and leaving me here flat on my ass with her mess and now injured and almost housebound. No Mars I won't be getting rid of the animals. When I know for sure where I'm going to be staying I'll make provisions to care for them better and give myself some relief but I'll be the one to bury them or whoever finds my body will make other arrangements for them. You can sure bet though that their attrited numbers will not be replenished!~ That Wal-Mart greeter idea has merit. Just this morning my cousin Linda was trying to get me to go over there and walk around screaming; "Pinch my nipples, pinch my nipples!" (For an explanation you'll need to ask her! )

Well, I'm going to try to get all dolled up and limp off to town and see if maybe I can't make it to church this morning too. The cat, Bridgette, slept with me last night so I think she is doing a bit better. The congestion seems to be a lot less. That old turkey broth must work wonders just like its cousin chicken soup !

Bridgette made it out to the futon on her own. She still hasn't eaten anything today. I guess I'll hand feed her shortly and put her to bed. Made it to church. Kind of surprised me. I figured that it being on campus it would be all students. Wrong! Most everyone there was med 30's to older than dirt like me. The Pastor, Philip Foster, is really good. Pastor Freddie, you would like him and I'd like to hear the two of you argue about when the first church was started. I guess I'd have to smack both of you and tell you it doesn't matter and then explain why! Pastor you were right, as much as I hate to admit it, it is where I needed to be. I'll be going again too. The knee isn't killing me but it isn't making me very happy either. The toes are throwing everything off balance so it is impossible to walk properly thereby making the knee out of kilter too.

Man that cat is hard headed. I locked her in the bathroom with a sand box, water, and canned cat food. She wouldn't touch a thing. I had to grab her and jam the food down her throat and use a syringe to squirt water into her mouth. She swallowed it, cleaned her face with no problem, just refuses to eat on her own. Her congestion is a whole lot better now and she doesn't have a fever or anything. More of the same tom,orrow I guess. Recommended treatment for a torn Medial colatteral ligament is immobilization of the knee at a 45 degree angle for four weeks ; yeah like that's going to happen! It'll take forever to heal at this rate. It still hurts like all hell but at least it is stable enough to walk on. The toes are a good bit better today. Not near as purple nor swollen too bad.

No problem feeding the cat this morning; dead cats don't eat! She was a pretty good cat too. Sue took her and her brother from a pack of thirty plus that went to the shelter several years ago from a house owned by two spinster sisters who were going into the nursing home. Their house looked I figure about what this house (or Sue's future house) will look like in another twenty yers. When they dug out all the newspapers they found an upright piano! Sue was well on the same path and I figure will continue it. So if anyone should see Sue tell her that her cat Bridgette, that she abandoned, grieved herself to death over her. Knee and toes still suck!

Shouldn't be to difficult, hole aint got to be real big and ya only gotta dig down a few inches past the frost line...you can at least bury it, out here we can't bury pets in our yard...have to take them some place for an "environmentally safe disposal..." what ever the heck that means...
an you know what I meat by that last post...life is just to damn short, so get up, get out and enjoy...heck you got lots of friends out there..go visiting instead of veggitating in that ol'house...
