My cousin told me he was having wild rabbit fresh killed. I reminded him the season was over. He said, yeah he knew it that's why he couldn't figure how come this rabbit showed up so late! (Badda bump bump!) Tonight she is Fettucini Alfredo with shrimp, fresh baby spinach, green salad (iceburg lettuce, red cabbage, carrot, shallot, black olives, tomato), home baked Italian bread and raspbery Jello.

Well she pulled a "thing" on me! She dcided to go to work early, see her boyfriend I rekon, and came back home around normal dinner time; said she wanted pizza. Not to worry! I pulled out the cookie sheets, whipped up a couple crusts and put one together with sauce, Parmesan, Mozorella, pepperoni, mushrooms and olives vor her and one with hamburger, onion, green pepper, pineapple, mushrooms, and olives for me! Payin' for it now brother! Either that or she brought me back another little present from the greybar hotel!

Well, I got off work the other day right when the worst of the big snow hit and went home to find I had no bread. I always laugh at those last minute scardey cats who clear the stores shelves of bread and milk. You should always be prepared right? RIGHT!
Arent I a dandy.
But fear not, I had flour, shortning, water, salt, and baking powder.
Thats all I needed to make my own flour tortillas.
So I still dont have any bread, but do have some of the torillas left. Tonight I'll take the rest of them and make BBQ shredded chicken wraps with chedder cheese and hellmans real mayo.
Maybe tomorrow I'll pich up a loaf of bread. Maybe not...

I don't think my wife even knows where the kitchen is! No that's right, it's where you feed the cats every morning.

Well, when I left the house an hour ago, I had the beef simmering for a big pot of beef stew. Lana ate all the carrots and celery I had. So I had to run to Athens for more. Figured I might as well do the wash while I'm here. Ought to be home just in time to get the veggies added to the meat.

Last night was hotdogs over a campfire with the kids.
Actually, I had to burn some brush and just as the fire was dying down I looked up to see all three of them crossing the yard with hotdogs, buns, and cokes. It was fun!
I was still hungry after they left though, so I opened a can of Hormell chilli and ate it with saltines and a beer.

Well the wife is worse off today; mised work. She was able to choke down cold cereal and a litle vanilla pudding this morning. Saltines and tea is about her limit. Although I feel like fecal matter I am not going to let this food tumor do without. It is getting Fettucini Alfredo with shrimp, and..... I think that's about it. Got to go throw up now!

Not sure what you'd call it......Gonna put some picante sauce in the bottom of the DO then a layer of beef & bean burritos.....sprinkle some cheddar and red pepper flakes on that, then some more sauce...another layer of burritos. More sauce and cheese. Heat it all through and serve it up with Frito chips.

I'm being real careful about what I fix in the "good" DO. Also making sure that it's washed, dried and oiled immediatly after use. So far, so good. I did tell Mike and the kids not to fix anything with tomatoes in it because I just know they are not as diligent when it comes to cleaning the pots and pans.
Last night was chicken stir-fry, rice, and pineapple upside-down cake. The upside-down cake was made in the double skillet on top the woodburner and turned out to perfection. I took pictures and will have to post them whenever I get the roll developed.

Y'all got me on an oriental kick too! Planning on Chicken brocolli stir fry tomorrow night with white rice since Sue gets off before dinner time. Last night I had myself two pan fried pork steaks seasoned only with salt and pepper and some pre-cooked and fried taters with eggs scrambled up in them! Tonight I'm thinking about chili and hot dogs.
