Mike was given an electric stove night before last. Gonna test the oven out tonight. By special request from the kids........ LASAGNA !!! All the good stuff going into this one....sausage, spinach, 5 kinds of cheese, mushrooms, all those good spices, black olives, onions, maters...... Only problem is I actually feel GUILTY using a modern appliance after the past month on the wood stove. Somethin' just don't seem right or fulfilling about being able to fix home fries or burgers in less than an hour.

Thirst is quenched Paws! I think it's all the salt in their food. I use very little at home. I just finished supper about a half an hour ago. It was Salisbury steaks with fried sweet taters and boiled baby carrots with a little butter with brown sugar and cinnamon pinched over them.

Come on now you are off to a great start! You gonna string them beans or open a can? Tell you what do, take them beans out from a can but first chop up two three slices of smoked bacon and brown it off. Chop up them onion and cook them in that bacon grease for a while too. Then pour out that water on them beans and rinse them real good in cold water. Put them in the pan and pour in some chicken stock just to cover. You can use a good chicken boulion or chicken base but be careful of the directions when you make it cause of the salt. Now dump that frypan in there and hot up the whole mess. You won't be able to tell them beans from cooked all day out the garden beans I swear! ;D Well let me see now, I think I'm having Chinese buffet tonight. The old lady been off since Friday and that means she done disappeared until meal time but today she gonna disappear all day I think so I gonna not cook. ;D

Home made pizza! I made the crust and added basil and garlic chips to the dough. The oil I used on it was the roasted garlic oil. Then I stretched it out and layered it with fresh shredded parmesan on the sauce then a little more basil and some garlic powder. Next came a layer of hamburger and onions. Then mozorella, romano, more parmesan, white cheddar, and provalone. Then a layer of mushrooms, black olives, and pepperoni evenly spaced with pineapple chunks between the pepperoni slices. ;D Man was it ever good!

That dough musta' made a strong foundation not to be crushed under that load of toppings! ;D Sounded more like you were building a high-rise condo than a PIZZA! ;D (got any left over?)

More pizza I think just to piss her off! You see we like different toppings so I'll just make one pizza with the stuff I like. Usually I'd make two but no more!
