Had a big wash tub full of Chex mix and another tub full of 7-up punch. I said "had" because the kids had a Super Bowl party last night and killed it off by the end of the first.

Popped up a big ol' bowl of Black Jewel popcorn. That black corn pops up small but it sure is crunchy!

Super Bowl Mix! I take a big bag of chex mix add half a bag of stick pretzels and half a bag of corn chips and about a third of a jar of dry roasted peanuts then about a cup full of rice chex and a cup of Life cereal. Mix them all up and munch away.

Seems like boneless ham and sunbeam bread are in the snack bowl.

That ham gone yet? Aldi's saved me on the snack thing. All of the Clancy's brand snacks; ergo, pretzels of three varieties, corn chips, pork rinds, and potato chips are only ninety nine cents a bag. Top quality too. They also carry Pringel's for under a buck and their Clancy's brand Party Mix for a buck ninety nine. Roasted peanuts and salt free are cheap too. They have several varieties of chips under the Clancy's brand which are priced right with good quality. So..... for the present what is in the bowl is Clancy's!

Paws, Glad you brought this up again,as things change! There is always something new.....My current favorite is the new Town House 'Flipsides' with a salmon cream cheese spread, with a bit of Tabasco and ice cold Pepsi. snake-eyes I have a ?? I get my salmon spread from Kroger's at a ridiculous price, but it is very good. Now I have about 1 1/2# of fresh salmon that I would like to make my own spread with... My question is can I prepare this with raw salmon as long as I keep it chilled and used say within 72 hours? Thanks

If you prfer not to smoke it I'd poach it first in a little lemon water/steam to retard bacteria growth then keep the product refrigerated. I wouldn't make up any more than I could use in three or four days and not let it sit out too awful long when in use. I don't think freezing it would hurt anything but don't know for sure. I make a cream cheese spread with smoked salmon using about four oz of salmon to a pound of cream cheese. Add a couple shots of worcestershire, about a half TBsp minced dehydrated onion, about a tsp of garlic powder and I usually use about a TBsp of chopped cilantro or parsley if I can't find cilantro. That keeps for a week but won't last that long!

Sprout's has chocolate covered cherries, and the chocolate is kinda cherry flavored....mmmmm
But the wife just knocked out the dark chocolate covered cranberries. Told me I was not allowed to buy them anymore. But I plan to anyway. Along with some vanilla ice cream. Then I will dish up a big bowl, stir it until soft then add a big handful of the choc-cranberries and stir up some more, then eat till the belly ache starts.
I got to get out and start walking some more, dunlap disease is taking over. Think it is time to add the pack to the walk.....

Advise caution there Slim! Those chocolate cherry cordials are what drove me over the diabetic edge. Of course I'd eat two boxes at a time!
