Aldi's saved me on the snack thing. Ahh...Hush up! I miss Aldi's. The closest one here is Gallipolis. That's almost 40 miles one way if I cut across the woods. What I'd save in groceries goes right out the tail pipe. Think I'll stop by Dollar General on the way home. I've had a hankerin' for a big bag of peanut M&M's.

Think I already posted this, but since we made up another batch last night it is worth posting again. Picked up a bag of dried tart apples, nuked some chocolate chips and dipped the apples, stuck em in the fridge so the choc could set, then sat down with a glass of cold milk and darn near foundered myself. And since we made them and ate them at home they only have half the calories as store bought......at least that is what we tell ourselves..... ;D

The kids and I just finished off a 25-lb box of Cheryl&Co. mini chocolate chip seconds. I don't ever want to eat another chocolate chip cookie.

Fish eyes and glue. Unless I bring the whole dang batch to the recliner, I'm gonna have to send one of the kids to fill by bowl.

Homemade Oatmeal Cookies! Fred wanted to learn how to bake cookies, so Granny whipped out her old recipe book and strapped an apron on him. They made several dozen oatmeal, butter bar, and sugar cookies and he brought me a box of the oatmeal ones. I munched on them with a glass of milk last night while watching bull riding on direct tv. They was good too!
