Oh man...don't get me started on that tyrannical trailer-park tramp-ho! We need that biyutch in the White House like Rosie O'Donnell needs a Whopper with Extra Large Fries and a Route 66 Shake!
What is the biyutch gonna rule when all the working class people decide "screw this!" and sit on their butts? Won't be anyone to garnish...no one working to pay taxes...and no one buying that chintzy crap from China.

Speaking of China; you think she might return what she stole or should we just buy her another set?

For the first time since I turned 18, I'm not going to vote. There's not a single person running that I believe would be worth a dang to this country. Mars, I can see where folks get to thinking that way,it has crossed my mine on a few occasions. From the post that have been put up on this subject it appears to me that most here are conservatives. That being said, voting for a bad conservative is much better than not voting at all .My reasoning being by not voting at all, is one vote gained by the liberals.I hope this makes some kind of sense snake-eyes

Let me put it like this...I use paper plates, and get out the Corelle Ware when someone comes over. (My choice, two reasons...I'm a cheapskate...and I hate washing a bunch of dishes every day) If Dixie paper plates and Corelle are good enough for me, then they are surely good enough for her! And a devil of a lot cheaper than china which is prone to breakage or some unscrupulous hillbilly in the Whitehouse stealing. Ever hear Foxworthy's tape about taking his family to Hawaii? They were taking the towels, soap, and etc. One of them spotted the maid's cart, and the raid was on. Said he asked his brother what he was going to do with 250 shower caps. His reply, "Christmas presents!" Sis-in-law pipes up, "Well thanks for spoiling it for everybody!!!" Point I'm making...Hillary and Bill behaved like poor white trash all the time they were in the Whitehouse (8 freaking years!). I can't believe people are stupid enough to consider putting them back in. Of course the only other choice, for people who insist on holding their party line, is that camel jockey.

It is also said by a lot of people, that if "YOU" don't VOTE you don't have the right to complain about who won or lost after the election.

There is no line to say the bad conservative would be better then the liberal. We are screwed no matter who wins. It used to be that you could atleast say one was worse then the other so you could vote for the lesser of two evils. This election time they are all equal. We are going to get the same exact thing from the bad conservative as from the liberal. Complain? From what I see as choices we will be lucky to survive as a Nation no matter the winner let alone complain about them. Atleast by not voting the blame doesn't fall on me.

You know I don't believe that a I can identify the culprit that made these assholes the front runners. Of the whole bunch I guess McCain is my favorite but he scares the hell out of me. He could go off the deep end any minute. Reminds me of Johnson on steroids to tell the truth. So, how in the world did we get into a situation where we have such a group of absolutely incompetent, untrustworthy, unreliable, scary people running for the 2nd most powerful office in the world?

I'm like you Phil, how did we get them? They are all a bunch of lying crooks, and only want the fame and glory, of course one wants in the history books for being the first she-male as President I also am scared of McCain, he might go wacko as you said.

I can't vote for the right one since he/she is not running. A vote for any of them is a wrong vote for the Country. I have yet to hear any of them explain what their plans are for the Country. All I've heard is their plans to spend my money condoling up benefits for one group or another instead of what they are going to do for all of us. This whole election has turned into a "grab fest" of self promotional interests!

I plan on voting for Mccain and praying that the "party" keep him in line. I'm not going to vote for that piece of sh*t, Hitlery and there's o way in God's earth that I'm going to vote for that no good Arab in censored s clothing! So, that leaves me with the GOP ticket and I ain't gonna vote for the slickster from MA, so that leaves JM. At least he has military experience. I'm awful scared of the Armed Forces being run by civilians! Look what Bill did to them!

To clear things up, Obama is an American not of any other country and never has been. He's as much an American as, I suspect, anybody else on this board. His heritage makes him no more an Arab then mine makes me a German/English/Indian.He is not nor ever has been a Muslim. He's a Christian. As the Bible warns, judge not lest you be judged and don't point to a brothers splinter in his eye with a plank in your own eye. Both passages reference judging our fellow Christians. I would warn also that if you don't like terms like African American because the person has never set foot in Africa then don't say someone is Middle Eastern when he was born here just like the African American. The Governator of California cannot run for President because he [glow=red,2,300]IS[/glow] an immigrant though many want him to do so. If conservatives can want an immigrant to run for President then we shouldn't say a thing about an American native born running for the same office.
I don't plan on voting for or even like the man but attempting to discredit him as being something he is not is wrong.

We have primary's here in Tn. today but as I posted I'm not voting and in fact, can't. I'm not registered in this county yet. Put it this way, I didn't like Bush but voted for him to keep Kerry out. This time around it seems the choice is Kerry 1 or Kerry 2. I can vote and say I helped put Kerry in Office or not vote and say I had nothing to do with it. Either way, Kerry still wins so it ends up being which choice I can live with myself.

I'm about to the point of saying to hell with the whole shit-a-ree. I'm getting to where I don't give a rat's "A" who they put in there...it's going to be screwed up beyond repair either way they go. We are truly screwed!!! My contention is still that whoever the jackasses are who stuck us with these poor choices to vote for should be publicly flogged, tarred, and feathered. But there is no damned way I would ever vote for Obama...I wouldn't care if he was gold plated! I just flat-assed don't like or trust the mofo, don't like his attitude or anything about him. And I like "that woman" even less!!! There's not a damned one of them who have sense enough to address the border problems. Until the border problems are taken care of, nationalized health care would be like trying to fill a bucket with a half-dollar sized hole in the bottom. With more and more of those people pouring in here, nationalized health care would be bankrupt in a few months. But I know I'm talking to a stone wall...no one gives a damn anymore...especially the ones in power. Rogue out

Maybe I'm just the eternal optimist, but I refuse to believe its as hopeless as you all portray it to be. Do we have an absolute perfect system, certainly not . But is there any other system of government you would choose to live under,I doubt it. I think the first time I heard this was in high school and it goes: "If you do not try to be part of the solution, then you are part of the problem."Voting is not the ultimate solution but is a part. The one thing that gets me out to vote on every election is the thought of those Americans that have died in order to give us the right to vote. Not voting is part of the problem, certainly not any part of a solution. I will get off my soapbox. snake-eyes

Not voting is doing something, it's not being part of the problem. When there is no viable solution to the problem then that leaves not being a part of the problem as an answer. This Country does not have "none of the above" as a voting option but sure needs it! So the only other choice is to not vote. When you have two bullies that want to punch you in the nose but only one will be allowed and you get to choose which one then which would you choose? Or would you rather walk away instead of making the choice? Silence is sometimes the loudest noise of all.

Not voting isn't nearly as bad as "mirror voting"; ergo voting for what "looks like me". That's just a tad worse than "selfish" voting or voting for whoever made "me" a promise. Until we get back to running the nation like a nation we'll never see a statesman again. I'm afraid that the best we could hope for at present is a run off between Obama and McCain and that still sucks big time. From the exit polls Clinton is getting a vast majority of the Hispanic ("selfish voting") support and female ("mirror voting") with Obama a distant 2nd receiving a smaller portion of the Hispanic vote and very little of the female vote. McCain seems to be getting the biggest share of both on the GNP side so a duel the two demographic camps could be a real shoot out between Clinton and McCain and a potential massacre for McCain between he and Obama assuming the women and Hispanics do not line up behind Obama should he become the party candidate. My gut feelings are that should Obama win the nomination that neither groups have the commitment or interest to support him for office. Seems that the Democratic party is having the same kinds of problems supporting the party that the GOP is having and why shouldn't they. CMS James Reginald Young still gets my vote.
