Not voting is doing something, it's not being part of the problem. Mars, Now that is an interesting thought! So if I choose to vote I am part of the problem? Let us just think like you and no body in America votes.I guess that will teach those no account politicians. What a really great idea! We will be somewhere between socialism and communism, and Mars will be the Lord of the Rings. Or maybe involved in some other fantasy. Good luck in your pursuit of a perfect world! This is Earth my friend, not Heaven. snake-eyes

Yes. If you vote knowing that the person that wins will be harmful to the Country then yes, you helped cause the problem. If Clinton wins and she fulfills her desire of banning guns are not the voters who voted her in also responsible because they know of her intentions? Voters cannot know or be responsible for everything a politician does, Bush being a good example of turning on those that voted for him, but knowingly voting for a person with such views does carry the responsibility to the voter for the politicians actions. Yes, how terrible if they held an election and nobody voted in protest.A leader leads only because the followers follow. If you can't remove the leader then you should stop following him. It worked for this Country before.
A forced vote is not exercising a Right but a forced obligation. Not using one Right does not remove all your Rights despite the governments rhetoric thats been repeated of "if you don't vote then you can't complain". That statement also wrongly assumes that a person would have voted for the loser. Ask Bush if the winner of the popular vote means you won the election.

I sure hope that by the time the Pres Elections role around that there will be a difference between the candidates.IMHO, the only way that difference will be noticable is if Clinton wins for the Democrats. Other then that, the differences between an Obama and Mcain ticket would be extremely marginal.

You know if Romny would pull out old Huckabee just might stand a decent chance at a shot. I could stand him for four years. For the Dems though I'd rather see Kerry, Gore, and Jimmy Carter running. I'm still voting for CMS James Reginald Young. That's Y-O-U-N-G, Young!

Well it looks like we might get a chance to test my theory! Rumor is old Romney is calling it a day. I'd think he should with better than 35 mill banked which is his to keep. Kinda dumber than dirt to shoot for a couple humdred grand a year at the price of 35 mill anywho. Now if the GOP will get behind McCaine solidly and the DNC gets pissed over whichever nomination comes up splitting them we'll have another Republican in the office of President. That's my prediction anyhow. If this happens, and I suspect it will I believe that both parties are going to get major overhauls if not completely eliminated. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the Independant party make masive growth over the next four years (if the earth stands that long.)

Romney pulled out ...Cant stand him much...Over the news tonight, most people were sort fo glad because he wasnt what he was trying to portray....A CEO, with his sleeves rolled up doesnt work...Meanwhile McCaine is trying to convince the party too believe that he will be a good conservative and that for unity ,they should forgive what he done in the past....The one reason I would vote for McCaine is his strong foreign policy and the fact that Clinton , and Obama want to bring the troops home.....In reality however, the idea is not to bring them home, but redeploy in a country in the middle east just in case shiit happens... Personnaly I think we can fix the problem at home, but my better senses tell me to have a Hawk in the White house.....Now who would make a better vice president???....I think an industrialist in the mode of Ross Perou....Seems the private sector has a better grasp on making profits and running proficiancy then what ever the Democraps have to offer concidering Hitlery is already stating she will raise tax's even if it means the wealthy will get it....Romney has better insite with his ideas of wht to do with illegal aliens and I think with him as VP,he can take care of this in country stuff....

Obama won a couple more States. It amazes me that he was ahead of Clinton and all of a sudden he's trailing. You think the dems will let him win against her?

They may not have a choice. I think the blacks have more guns than the women do! Of course the women could always withold their favors as a form of ransome! And if the black women get organized we are all in trouble especially Oprah!

Friends of GOP sent me an e-mail with a McCaine Letter: My Friends,
I am writing to you because today, we must begin to unite as party and prepare for the upcoming election in November. If I am so fortunate as to be the Republican nominee for president, I will stand on my conservative convictions and offer Americans a clearly conservative approach to governing. But my friends, I cannot succeed in this endeavor without the support of dedicated conservatives like you. And today, I write to ask for your support.
Will you join my campaign today by making a generous contribution? We will have a hard-fought battle against either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama, and I know that by joining together, our party will prevail on Election Day.
In just a few short days, Senators Clinton and Obama have raised nearly $10 million online for their respective campaigns. I know that I must take the time now to replenish my campaign's funds to prepare for what will undoubtedly be the most expensive campaign for president in our history. That is why I ask you to make an urgent contribution of $25, $50, $100, $250, $500 or more today.
This election is going to be about big things, not small things. And I intend to fight as hard as I can to ensure that our shared conservative principles prevail.
Senators Clinton and Obama want to increase the size of the federal government, raise your taxes, and withdraw our forces from Iraq based on an arbitrary timetable designed for political expediency. I intend to reduce the size of the federal government, cut your taxes and win this war. I have had the distinct honor of serving our great country for many decades and with your support, I will be able to serve her for a little while longer.
I am proud to have come to public office as a foot soldier in the Reagan Revolution. My friends, twenty-five years later, I am still proud to be a conservative and it is my greatest hope that you will join me in this campaign today. Thank you.
Sincerely,
John McCain
P.S. If I am so fortunate as to be the Republican nominee for president, I intend to lead our party to victory in November guided by our shared conservative principles. The upcoming battle for the White House will be the most expensive ever and your immediate contribution of $50 or more will help our campaign raise the funds necessary to wage a spirited and competitive campaign. Your generous support is always appreciated and I look forward to working with you as we campaign through Election Day. Thank you.
My Reply:
No sir you are very mistaken. We must unite; but as a "Nation" not a party. It is this "party" pigeon holing horse shit that is at the root of the divisevness of our nation ripping us apart, dulling our initiative, creativity, and making all of us look like fools to the rest of the world. Build your platforms, set your planks and when fully constructed realize that you have built yourself a prison of paradigms that shuts out the rest of the nation. Have a good day and maybe next election season you will be extinct along with the rest of the dinosaurs.

I wouldn't worry about any President being able to pull all the troops out of Iraq. They won't and can't. All their talk is just that, talk.

Oh I ldon't know about that. Remember Vietnam and how successfully it was managed from the oval office for a decade by three incompetent military Commanders In Chief. The reason the Presidency needs a former military person in office is because they know that military leadership will lie to you to keep you from finding out about anything unsuccessful, gild their successes, spend their entire budget frivelously because they know you will cut it if they don't use up everything you provided for them in the first place and provide even less in the future, and you will reduce their strength if the present level is getting the job done thereby reducing their command structure and consequently the need for their level of rank and authority.

Different time and place and we are not at war with Iraq or defending Iraq from invasion from another country. We have made commitments, promises and have obligations to Iraq that we as a Country will be required to maintain irregardless of who is President.
Yea right. We have heard this line before. Problem is that she doesn't hunt or target shoot with a firearm. She just removes her mask.
I have yet to read were it states the right to bear arms for hunting and target shooting shall not be infringed. It is military arms that could be used in defense or removal of our goverment that are protected.

You can plink with military weapons. Ever hear of a "mad minute"? We weren't at war with Vietnam either, merely the concept of Communism. In Iraq we are at war with AlQuaeda, and Muslim exgtremism. Same story and should we leave we'd probably discover that we are indeed protecting Iraq from invasion by Iran.

Vietnam was against a uniformed, organised military that was and still is supplied and controlled by a Goverment entity(for the most part). Al Queada is the same as the Mafia in this Country.
Obama beat Clinton again and now has 11 straight wins. Clinton in the Clinton style has started the personal attacks and propaganda b.s.. I read today that she claims McCain had an affair. ;D I guess she should know about such things.

I don't figure there was any "Clinton" influence involved with the timing of this particular piece of eyewash! Well, if what I just received from Pastor Freddie is credible, Obama and Oprah are going to make the Clintons look like alter boys/girls. I'll let him explain. Rogie you might want to make up a new pancake box with Hil's picture and replace Boracks head on the Jockeye with Bill's!

From what I understand, Ophra is pushing a New Age Jesus. One of their teachings is that Jesus' crucifixion wasn't nescarry since we are all sinless. This is straight from the bowels of hell itself. And Ophra is pushing for Obama to be elected.

There is an undercurrent that claims that Obama is the AntiChrist and that Oprah is the "Whore of Babylon" mentioned in the Book of Revelation. Wouldn't surprise me!
