I wouldn't join that Elf Union! You have to; Be 4 foot tall or less. Height reductions are possible but rather an unpleasant process. Weigh 80 lbs or less. Weight reduction programs are available but rather an unpleasant process. Work hours(Union Rules) are 9am to 5..... am... Breaks are every 30 minutes for cookies and milk( see weight restrictions above) 110% productivity a minimum with 150% prefered and 175% for any awards. Work week is 6 days Any Reindeer out rank you, any Reindeer droppings out rank you. Hey!!! Let's sign Toby up. It sounds like he would fit right in

I thought that Toby was the snowman. Toby was outside when it started snowing, and being Toby, he didn't know any better, so he stayed outside.

I have no "christmas spirit". Never had, never will. If you mean a spirit of charity and giving then I don't require a "season" to be like that.

Yeehaw, Ol' Santa (AKA Mom and Dad) was good to all of us and I think everyone enjoyed the gifts I got them. The kids were all wearing grins and nobody was fighting.
I couldn't possibly take in another ounce of food and am hoping I'll have enough room to pack in a piece of pie or two by tonight. It was all good and a great day so far. I hope all of you are enjoying a great Christmas day...especially my Ohio buddy's on here; I see ya'll had a ugly storm last night...hopefully Santa made it through the rough stuff, lol.

I think Santy must have been using his boat to deliver presents around here last night. So glad all that rain we got wasn't snow! We'd would have gotten 16"+ of white stuff if it were colder. Winds have been howling since last night. Spent today gathering up wind blown things and tacking siding back on the house. Those duck boots sure came in handy! We've been near 50-degrees since last night. Had a friend online tonight who is a 911 dispatcher in Virginia. She said it's a nightmare out there with all the ice & snow. She had to pick up a few troopers on her way home from work who got stranded.
Has been way too quiet around here today. Boys went to their girlfriends houses for dinner and aren't back yet. Lana slept away most of the day. Got a short call from Mike who was just going to bed after building tow in an all night driving rain.

The youngest granddaughter sang Phil a song Christmas Eve!! It was Santa Phil guiding a 14 cat sleigh with 4 dogs and they were meowing and barking all the way!! She added more..she will be 11 y/o next month going on 25!! ;D Phil was impressed and he told her that it was lovely and then he said...that is so Special!! If, he makes its today to the Farmer's Mkt. He may go to Verizon to check out their Air Card.....but, we know how he has been dragging his feet with getting back on-line!! I think that he is beginning to get cabin fever 11!

Toby, I am at my daughter's in WV where the snow was deep when I arrived on Thursday...it is nearly all melted, but there is still about 2" in the wooded area behind where my daughter lives. They left to go to the store and there were about 8 deer and I found some carrots and I broke them in several pieces as they were large ones and there is a squirrel over there with the deer. I also had an extra bird feeder that I brought with me. The birds have not found it yet, but when they do...the feeder will have to be filled probably daily as it is on the small side. I am listening to Marshall (Huntington, WV) vs. Ohio University (Athens, OH) Football in what was the Motor Bowl this is Phil's area.....my grand daughter sang to Phil on the phone. He seemed to have had a Good Christmas telling of him giving treats to his 4-legged kids!! ;D
