A can of Progresso soup (they were on clearance at Walmart) and a sleeve of Saltine crackers. Soup, two serving can, 240 calories and full sleeve of crackers (8 servings) 480 calories. Washed it down with lots of water.
720 calories for the meal and I repeated it for supper. After skipping breakfast, that made for another day under 1,500 calories. I'm sliding down into yet another size smaller jeans also!!! :-)

Progresso Chicken and noodle soup 'light' at 70 calories per serving @ 2 servings per can... 140 calories. dd to that a sleeve of Saltine crackers @ 480 calories and this fat boy had a filling lunch @ 620 calories. I'm on a roll. I want to continue losing weight an get off all diabetes meds.
Folks, when the shit does hit the fan (and at this rate, it will) finding pharmaceuticals will be tough. The fewer meds I'm on, the longer I'll survive.

The fewer meds I'm on, the longer I'll survive. Good job on the calories. But watch the sodium. Two servings of that 'light' Progresso soup has 1380mg, or 58% daily value of salt. Add a sleeve of saltines and even if you're a good guy and they were the unsalted saltines, it's another 1360mg and 56% daily value. Just this meal has just a few grains shy of an ounce of salt. That's 1.66 TABLESPOONS of salt!!! Go ahead and measure that much salt out and think about having it for your meal. Yeah, that's quite a bit of salt! I'd be pressed to use that much salt in an entire day's menu (unless I'm serving ham, kraut, and pickles). Sis is harping at ya, I know. Just because I catch myself doing the same thing you're doing. Calorie counting and forgetting to take in the entire analysis of my ration.

Mike finished off the potato salad while I went to get hay. I stopped by the arches on the way home for a filet and diet coke.

Got up this morning and thought maybe we'd go to the county fair. Oh what the hell. It's too damned hot to go traipsing around at the fair. If I want elephant ears, I can make them here......Shit, now I'm bored. Let's go to the fair. All the cattle shows are going on today.....Watched the dairy feeder show in the hottest fair barns I've ever been in (I've showed cattle for 40 of my 45 years at nearly every fair in Ohio and in a lot hotter temps than today). Decided it was well past lunchtime...Searched all over the fairgrounds and not a single concession stand was open at 4:00. Thought we'd get in the shade and look at the homemaking and commercial exhibits. There weren't none! Not one jar of tomatoes, tray of produce, or fancy needlework to look at! WTH??!!..... By now our clothes were soaked and we were utterly disgusted at this "fair" - especially considering it was $8 a head at the gate. Got in the truck and went to Wendy's. It sucked about as bad as the fair did!! Blandest thing we've ever eaten. The new pretzel cheeseburger I got was dripping in grease and had ZERO flavor. Mike said his baconator wasn't too great either. The fries were cold and tough - probably made yesterday morning. The diet coke was half flat. Only 'flavor' was our Frostys. But we were so overheated from the fair that we instantly got a major brain freeze and cramps that lingered most of the afternoon.

BIL swung by yesterday for lunch and brought a stuffed potato and a couple devil crabs. I ate them with a few liberal dollops of Louisiana Hot Sauce and they were incredibly tasty. Couldn't thank him enough!
Today's lunch I made a few pancakes and went easy with the maple syrup.
